Position: Human Resource Manager

The Human Resource Manager will provide management with strategic input on HR services, policies, and programs for the company. This includes advising senior management on all strategic HR matters, HR functions implementing and managing HR policies, in accordance with the Labour law, policy, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Support and Alignment:
Conduct regular assessments of office operations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and priorities.
Talent Acquisition/Recruitment:
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent, ensuring alignment with company goals and culture.
Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee payroll management in collaboration with Finance and follow pay schedule.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing prompt, fair, and confidential resolutions to maintain trust and satisfaction. Monitor and ensure adherence to labour laws, industry regulations, and internal company policies, making timely updates to HR procedures and employee handbooks.
Performance Management and Support to Leadership (if applicable):
Oversee a robust performance review process, setting clear benchmarks and guiding managers to foster productivity and accountability.
Qualification Required & Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a business-related field.
– Professional certification in human resources management is an asset.
– HR professional experience in a construction or real estate company is an added advantage.
– Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in HR.
– At least 3 years in a management advisory role.
– Experience in managing human resources functions with an international organisation will be an advantage.
– Knowledge of standard HR practices.
– In-depth knowledge of labour laws and trends.
– Ability to draft policies and procedures.
– Ability to work longer hours.
– Knowledge and proven experience of HRMIS.
– Ability to validate & process payroll in collaboration with the Finance Department.
– Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
– Solid skills in the development and implementation of new salary pay scales.
– Ability to travel across construction and project sites.
